The Power Of Subliminal Messages

In this article we will take the concept of subliminal messages into the next level and cover more advanced techniques of creating them.

The effectiveness of subliminal message is directly connected to how suggestible your subject is. You have probably heard of cases when teenagers, sacrifice their life to devil, after listening to a heavy metal song that had satanic message recorded backwards on it. Events like this are possible because of teenagers incredible suggestibility and the fact that subconscious mind is able to pick up such hard to notice messages.

You can mark subliminal messages in many different ways. If you are speaking with someone, it can be as easy as rising your eyebrows or making a characteristic hand gesture while saying certain words. Whatever you choose, the purpose is to allow subconscious mind to pick up the message from rest of the sentence.

In hypnosis, when the other person has closed eyes, it becomes logical they can't see when you are making gestures or using facial expressions. However changing your voice tonality is all you need to achieve a result. Of course you can't make this modification too obvious or your subject will notice it.

Something very subtle like, changing the position of your head can produce dramatic difference in effectiveness of your suggestions. While consciously you won't be able to notice the difference, your subconscious will be able to pick up the change of place from which your voice is coming from and it will receive the subliminal command.

If you will combine all we mentioned here and in previous article, you should be able to notice a dramatic enhancement between the statement "as you go deeper into trance" and "as you", turn your head left "go", get your head into former position, "deeep-peeer and DEEEEP—PEEER", turn your head left again, "into trance."

As you can see these are very small changes, however if you will compare both messages and test the results, you will see that the second method is much more effective. Making your technique flawless is especially important when you are doing stage hypnosis. With large audience and limited amount of time, you have to induce deep trance very fast or else you will make a fool out of yourself and people watching will think of you as a scam artist.

When you are learning basic skills of hypnotic language, it is very useful to polish your abilities with people around you. When I was first staring out, I had no one to practice subliminal messages and other techniques on, so I was trying them on my friends and family. This way, I was able to train and develop my skills to a level when they are permanent part of my communication. If you want to be a good hypnotist, you need to be able to create powerful suggestions on the fly and that is why you have to practice, using subliminal messages, as often as you can.

While it may be a great fun to make people buy you drinks or do stuff for you, remember that if they discover what you are doing, you can lose some of your friends. That is why you should always ask yourself, if you aren't exploiting other people and pay their favors back.
