How To Hypnotize

Dangers of Hypnosis

Hypnosis, in spite of what many people say, can be very destructive in the wrong hands. You can't blame hypnotists for trying to make hypnosis look like an innocent tool for self-help. After all it is their work and I suspect they wouldn't enjoy many clients if people would be aware that, hypnotist can do whatever he wants with his patient.

As the old saying, that is mentioned anytime someone puts mind control and hypnosis in one sentence, says: "Person under hypnosis can't be forced to do anything against their moral values." While it is 100% true, don't feel too much relief just yet.

As I've said hypnotist can do nearly anything with you, as long as he PUTS IT IN A CORRECT MANNER. If you are able to present reality to subject of hypnosis in a way that doesn't trigger any of his moral values, he will do whatever you like.

And I mean everything.

I think that we can safely assume there is nothing more unmoral than killing someone. So lets say that a hypnotist puts a person into a deep trance and then suggests him that he and his wife are playing "cops and thieves" and he is a policeman and his wife is a thief.

Than a hypnotist hands him a real gun and tells him that it is just a prop, a toy. Subject of hypnosis imagines wearing cop outfit and his wife wearing thieves outfit. In such a situation, when his wife starts to run away, unaware of what her husband is doing, he can pull the trigger.

Subject of hypnosis doesn't feel any moral issues as, in his mind, this situation is just a game. By presenting reality in such a way, hypnotist bypasses moral values of his patient and makes him do something he would never have done out of trance.

Another thing a lot of inexperienced hypnotists do is, acting like they are healers or doctors. It is especially unsafe when your friends and family come to you with different pains, asking you for help in relieving them.

Such situations are very dangerous, as hypnosis can mask the pain, but it can't cure the underlying health issue. The only thing you do is take attention off something that can be a hazardous or even lethal disease. So, you are better off sticking to self-help when it comes to hypnosis.

The last dangerous thing when it comes to hypnosis we are going to discuss is, using wrong suggestions when dealing with patients. Lets imagine a situation when a hypnotist is trying to make someone feel more confident. In order to achieve it he uses a suggestion: "You are so confident that, you can rob a store." This seemingly motivating statement will stay in hypnotized persons mind, eventually causing him to rob a store, putting his and other people at danger.
