Rapport Building Techniques

Hi,
In this article we will concentrate on, how can you benefit the most by taking advantage of rapport. I don't know if you are aware of the fact that people who have good rapport with each other, tend to mirror their body position, way of speaking and all the other cues we discussed in previous article.
As you should know by now, you have a plethora of tools you can use to build rapport with the other person. However you may have no clue, what can you use this information for. There are obvious benefits of good rapport like trust and friendship, but we will concentrate on other much more interesting results.
If you will do the job of building rapport right, there will come a point when the other person will start to value and like you so much, they will mirror your body language, voice tone etc.. You may start to understand where I'm going with this, but allow me to make it even clearer for you.
Welcome to the world of leading.
When you finally reach the state of rapport development, in which the other person is trusting and respecting all the things you say and do. And you see he is mirroring your body language and speaking mannerisms. You are ready to become "the most irresistible" person on earth. Most of the people have problems understanding this concept at first, but when the other person is mirroring your body language, emotions and all the other rapport building factors, you actually have a total control over their body and feelings.
You can transform emotions of the other person, simply by changing your emotional state. You want someone feel happy, just act happy. If you have a hard time understanding what are the benefits of such a situation, allow me to put it this way, let's say you're trying to sell a brand new microwave to your customer. You don't have to waste your time listing all the benefits and features of the product, you can achieve the same if not better effect by building good rapport with your client and then showing your excietement and desire for the product. This way you will create burning need for the product in your customer, making the decision to buy irresistible.
This is how natural leaders gain control over any group of people. Even thought they make it unconciously, the steps are the same. They start from building rapport with every member of the group they are supposed to lead, one by one they befriend every person, until they establish enough authority to make other people follow their commands without any questions. This technique is the favourite of sects of all kind.
As you can see, rapport building and leading are very important from the stand point of persuasion. Not only because they allow you to control other persons emotional states and thought processes without saying single word, but combined with language persuasion make you simply irresistible for the other people.
